Pete and Amy Bullette
Pete and Amy graduated from Southern Illinois University where they were both involved with Chi Alpha. After graduation, Pete and Amy got married and went to St. Louis where Pete worked as a CPA for KPMG and Amy worked as a registered Dietician in a local Health Care Clinic. After a year in St. Louis, God called them into Chi Alpha, so they quit their jobs and moved across the nation to train for ministry. They spent a year working with Chi Alpha at Georgetown University and then in 2000, came to Charlottesville to start Chi Alpha at UVA! Pete and Amy are passionate about Jesus and helping students grow deeper in their walk with Christ! They also have a very cute three year old son, Ian!

Anthony and Michelle Saladino
Anthony grew up in New Jersey, and was radically transformed in a Chi Alpha ministry in Montana as a student. He joined the Chi Alpha staff in Montana, and then served at the University of Maryland for several years. Anthony and Michelle met when Anthony was visiting different universities in the area, looking to be a part of a Chi Alpha ministry. After visiting UVA, Anthony headed to James Madison University, where Michelle was a student leader at the time, studying education and specializing in ESL. By the Lord's leading, or love, Anthony chose to stay close to Harrisonburg and joined staff at UVA Chi Alpha in 2004-05. Anthony and Michelle began a courtship, got engaged, and were married in October of 2005. Michelle works in the Charlottesville School system as an ESL teacher, and helps out with Chi Alpha as well. In July 2008, they had their first child - Micah Anthony, who is already showing signs of developing his father's skills in soccer. Anthony loves to work with International students, athletes (or sport-lovers), and guys in general. Michelle is gifted as a worship leader, and loves to disciple women.
Kelly and Jason Baker
Chi Alpha? Kelly and Jason wouldn’t be married without it! Kelly and Jason met as students in Chi Alpha at the University of Virginia. Kelly studied Environmental Science and Religious Studies, while Jason worked on his Masters’ in Engineering Physics. In 2006 they graduated, got engaged, and moved across the country to Washington State. On the west coast, Kelly trained to work with Chi Alpha and planned the wedding. They were married in July 2007, and moved back to Charlottesville so Kelly could use her Chi Alpha skillz at UVA. Kelly loves to work with females and reach out to non-Christians; Jason works as a full-time patent classifier and leads the Graduate Core Group.
Chi Alpha Aides
Rachel Harless
Rachel is a Chi Alpha Missionary Aide for XA at UVA this year. She graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in Government and Religious Studies. Rachel heads up the publicity team and the creativity team while also leading a Core Group for second year girls and a Peer Team. In all her free time, she enjoys oil painting, cooking, camping, the Downtown Mall, and Google calendar.
Chi Alpha Interns
This year Chi Alpha at UVA is blessed with four new interns who are participating in a brand new internship program. Our new interns are Katie Summers (CLAS '08, Religious Studies), Eric Hoyle (VT '07, History), Josh Moran (CLAS '07, Religious Studies), and Kristine Carlson (graduated from Iowa State and worked for several years as an accountant in Springfield, MO).
